The MM in Choral Conducting is a rigorous, highly select, two-year program of study that combines technique, artistry, and scholarship. It is unique in providing students two distinct degree recitals, one each with the Graduate Conductors Chorus and Recital Chorus. Graduates of this program have gone on to conduct outstanding university, school, community and professional choirs across the country. Recent guest artist include Jerry Blackstone, André Thomas, Hellmuth Rilling, Kathy Romey, Joe Miller, Edward Maclary, Judy Bowers, Ensemble Amarcord and Magnificat Consort.
Graduate students in Choral Conducting are normally offered Teaching Assistantships that include competitive tuition remission and monetary stipends.
